There is currently no countywide burn ban in effect. Residents should still burn responsibly and follow state and local fire safety rules.

Including County-specific and District departments, there are over 40 different departments that operate within the borders of Atascosa County. The majority of these offices are public facing and are here to serve you and your needs. Apart from that, there are a few departments that are in place to support the offices that serve the public. We are all on the same team with the purpose of availability, efficiency, and service to you, the residents of Atascosa County.
